This talk will give an overview of recent work at the Plasma Chemistry Laboratory in Albuquerque New Mexico. The talk will start with chemistry relating to ionospheric medication involving chemi-ionization of lanthanide metals. I will then discuss a variety of metal ion reactions related to catalysis and the detailed mechanistic understanding that statistical modeling of temperature dependences can yield. Finally, results from a quantifiable technique to measure ion radical reactions will be shown.
