Niels Bohr was awarded the 1922 Nobel Prize in Physics. In this talk, the 1922 Prize will only serve as an introduction to the main topic: Niels Bohr as nominator.
Over the years he submitted 25 nominations, of which 22 for physics and 3 for chemistry. Was he successful, in other words, did he have the ear of the Nobel Committees? The answer must be yes, although there are a few notable exceptions.
