Vetenskapens hus

The House of Science (Vetenskapens hus) is a public outreach initiative which is run in close collaboration with AlbaNova, and is located at Roslagstullsbacken 29 on the AlbaNova campus.

The aim of the House of Science is to increase interest in science and technology, and to promote cooperation between schools and universities.

School classes from primary/elementary and secondary/high schools in the Stockholm area can book half-day or day visits for laboratory experiments, talks on AlbaNova’s focus subjects, physics, astronomy and biotechnology as well as chemistry and mathematics. Laboratory experiments are led by class teachers, but with support from the House of Science staff, who are qualified teachers and graduate students.
