Auditoria

Both have complete sets of audiovisual equipment.
Both are connected by tunnel to the demonstration laboratory building(Roslagstullsbacken 33; house 1), so demonstration equipment can be easily transferred.

Seminar rooms

There are two large seminar rooms on level 3 in the main building, opposite the restaurant, which can be booked for seminars, committee meetings, etc.
There is a kitchen next to the smaller of the two rooms.

Lecture rooms

In the eastern part of the main building there are nine lecture rooms on levels 4 and 5, and one more on level 4 of Roslagstullsbacken 33(house 1). These can normally only be booked by the member of staff responsible for timetabling at each department, though if one is free, others may book too.
Priority is given for different subjects/departments for each lecture room, according to the list below.

Laboratory classrooms

All undergraduate courses at AlbaNova use a range of laboratories and demonstration classrooms located in the main building and in Roslagstullsbacken 33(house 1). The larger rooms are located on levels 4 and 5 of the main building, next to the lecture rooms.
There are also a number of windowless lab rooms on level 2. In Roslagstullsbacken 33 the lab rooms are on level 2(the ground floor)and level 3. Booking for all labs and demonstration classrooms can only be done through the member of staff responsible for timetabling at each department.

Booking is organized by the Fysikum Student Office.
The halls are nevertheless not available for external booking.

None of the KTH departments have computer halls in AlbaNova.

Library

The AlbaNova Library is located on levels 6 and 7 in the rotunda in the main building.
The library is a reference and lending library for researchers and students. A number of workstations are available for readers who wish to consult the electronic journals which KTH and SU subscribe to.

The library is a branch of Stockholm University Library, SUB.

To borrow books from the library, you need a loan card from SUB, which can be obtained from the librarian on duty. An automatic book loan machine is available so that you can borrow books when there is no librarian on duty.

The photocopier in the library is the only one in AlbaNova available to students.
Ask the librarian for current prices.

AlbaNova's librarians are Maria Pettersson Zapior, Camille Hertil Lindelöw and Elizabeth Calrsson from Stockholm University Library.

Telephone number to the library's information desk is 08 - 5537 8293.

Each staff group should have access to a common room/coffee room located close to their office.
Next to each common room is a small kitchen.

For breaks between lectures, there are tables and chairs in the main concourse.

Kitchens

Each small kitchen has a fridge, microwave oven, sink and cupboards.
There is room for a dishwasher, if groups wish to purchase one.
Lack of ventilation means that ovens may not be installed in the kitchens.
Cutlery and crockery, coffee machines and kettles are the groups' responsibility.

Students have access to a kitchen in the large common room on level 4 of the demonstration lab building(Roslagstullsbacken 33, house 1). A smaller kitchen is located in the computer building(Roslagstullsbacken 29, house 2)in the common room on the ground floor.

Group rooms for research Groups

The sick room, which is opened with a normal employee key, should be kept locked.

There are a small number of changing rooms with showers located on level 1 of the main building.
Some are reserved for certain categories of staff.
There are two changing rooms for all employees just inside the entrance next to the main staircase(Roslagsvägen 30D), to the right next to the staircase.

There are currently no changing or shower facilities for students.
